Maybe Anthony should leave the country more often?....On the first day he is gone, the Pirates go out and destroy the Cubs 11-1 for their first blowout victory of the year. If him leaving is what it takes to get the Bucs rolling and winning a game by more than a run or two, I'll take that trade off. Nicaragua can have him....
How about Anthony's favorite Bucco whipping boy Andy Laroche? He walked 3 times and scored 3 runs in the blowout. He's holding steady at .320/.407/.467 for a .874 OPS with 3 homeruns.
Jason Bay? Now .238/.345/.376 with one home run and a .721 OPS.
I know, I know....Its way early, small sample size for the stats, etc...But let's enjoy it anyway.
